What to Know for the Week of 10/21-25

What to know:

 

  1. First Quarter ends this week. Students have an early dismissal at 1:22 on a 90-minute early dismissal schedule.
  2. Final steel beams will be placed in the next couple of weeks. For information on what happens next, watch Mr. Estepp’s most recent Hard-hat Update: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WlzEEJzp5A8&feature=youtu.be
  3. Cross Country won 1st at Districts. (both boys and girls) and Lily Bauer placed 1st. They will participate in the OHSAA Regional Tournament on Saturday in Troy, Ohio.
  4. National Honor Society: lunch Monday, 21; induction rehearsal Tuesday, 22 at 5pm; Induction ceremony Wednesday, 23 at 7; dues due Wednesday, 23 ($25)
  5. Soccer Tournaments: Boys soccer beat Clermont Northeastern on Saturday 9-0 in the first round of the OHSAA Tournament, they play Finneytown at Norwood’s Shea Stadium at 7pm Tuesday. Girls soccer plays @ Madeira today (Monday) at 6pm in the second round of their tournament.
  6. Girls Volleyball: ended their season last Thursday, battling Norwood but falling in four sets. 
  7. Football: Football beat Reading 22-10 on Friday (10/18). Football plays Deer Park at Deer Park High School at 7:00 PM on Friday
  8. Clubs: FCA club every Tuesday morning at 7:20, Art club every Thursday after school, Book club every Friday morning at 7:10. Members are currently reading Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige, Pride+ every Friday at lunch
  9.
