Although the season looked different this year, the boys cross country team, 1st in the CHL, had an exceptional season.

Alex Mantle, Senior Captain, mentioned how this season was different. He said, “This season has been a lot more stressful than others. We have had to wear masks at every meet, except for when we run. We also have been unable to have team dinners and other things because of COVID.”

Beyond a 1st place in the CHL, the boys also won districts and will be moving on to regionals. Some members had individual success, Bennet Turan 1st in CHL (time 16:24), Sam Beeler 2nd (time 16:25), Ben Fahnestock 5th (time 17:07), Santi Biro 7th (time 17:15), Henry Buck 9th (time 17:18), Andrew Chen 12th (time 17:29), and Martin Eisenhower 16th (time 18:01). Bennet Turan was almost named Athlete of the year and Coach Natalie Dragovich was named Coach of the year.
