Although the boys basketball team faced some adversity this season, the team was able to come together to have a great season. In the end, the boys were the fourth team in the CHL (with a 6-5 league record, 16-8 overall), and they were also district runner ups.

Junior Ethan Malafa said the team faced “game cancelations and not having a big student section.” He also mentioned, “this season has been different from other ones because we lost 2 great players in Max Megowen and Jon Michael Senes and we still managed to go far in tournament.”

Andrew Glassmeyer, a senior, stated, “the fact that we have been able to overcome that adversity has really made this year feel special.”

Beyond the team’s success, a couple of the boys placed in the CHL: Ethan Malafa placed fifth for rebounds (averaging 7.9 per game), Jack Borgerding placed third for blocks (averaging 1 per game) and Tim Stewart placed fifth  for blocks (averaging .8 per game).
