My advice would simply be: Do something you love with your life. Money alone can never bring the happiness people are looking for. Find a wonderful person to share your life with and enjoy each day as if it might be your last. I will never forget my fabulous first graders that are now graduating. Each one holds a special place in my heart forever!

For my first graduating senior class, I would like to pass on this quote:
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”
– Albert Einstein
I wish you happiness and health as you embark on your next phase of life!
Thank you!

Notice the world around you. Search the night sky for meteors and the creek for fossils and salamanders. Love your neighbor, educate your children, challenge yourself at your job. Buy earthquake insurance and ignore claims that aliens abducted your cousin.
What else can I say, but science, like life, is hard work. Enjoy it.
Love,

To the class of 2010,
You are all some of my favorite students of all time and very special people. My advice for you as you commence your higher education and adult life is this, “Recognize and develop your talents, be responsible citizens, and never forget who you are.”
Congratulations and best of luck,

The beauty of a mystery is not always in the knowing, just as the wonder of a journey is not always the destination. Enjoy mystery when it comes your way and savor the journey.
