Mariemont Golf Team beat out Indian hill, but lost to Madeira by one shot at the tri-match at Camargo Golf Club after school on Wednesday.
As one of the Mariemont players reported, “This was our year to do it and just missed out.’’ The top four scores came from Carter McGahey, Will Stevens , Cooper Drum, and JP Widican.
Carter McGahey had a tough day with a couple missed putts, and if they dropped, could have made him go lower. Cooper Drum had the round of his life with an impressive 39. Will Stevens, with a score of 44, did not play as well as he normally does. JP Widican was also off his game with a 43.
