It’s third quarter, and senior year can be a drag by now. There are plenty of zaney things to do to liven up the rest of the semester. Here’s a few ideas.

Find out what “fabulous prizes” Mr. Wolfford is always referring to: Anyone who has him knows about “fabulous prizes”. But what exactly are these fabulous prizes? Do well in his class, and you just might find out!

Don’t fail: The one thing that should be on every senior’s bucket list. Be sure to keep your grades up and stay on top of homework. You’ll regret it if you don’t, especially with the senior research project. Take the big projects in small steps, and don’t let yourself become overwhelmed.

“Cage-ify” the school: Everyone loves Nic Cage and what better way to show it than by glorifying his existence through the media of printed out Google images? He just has a face that’s easy to love and impossible to forget. Hang pictures of him around the school to show your Cage pride!

Get featured on the Warpath: Whether it’s being an internet sensation or learning to fly a plane, if the writers of the school newspaper want to write an article about you specifically, you’re either doing something right, or something very, very wrong (let’s hope it’s the former).

Pick out your college roommates: Many MHS seniors are choosing roommates already, but here’s my advice; if you’re not basically living with a friend already, it’s probably a bad idea to room with them. If you and your bff grew up together, then that should be fine. I know I’d love to have my bestie for a roommate. However, college is also about meeting new people, and though there are orientations and parties and such, it might benefit you to have someone you don’t know as a roommate. If you don’t happen to get along, then you can always request a change.
