Located in what is becoming the culinary diverse Mariemont Promenade, Mango Tree is the new kid on the block.

Food, 9/10
Mango Tree offers a wide variety of Thai and Asian cuisine. The first thing I tried when I went there was the California roll, a common sushi dish. These were delicious, a good way to start the meal. Only thing that was tough about them was the wasabi. The stuff was powerful enough to force me to cry. That was likely my fault. I then had spring rolls, which tasted flavorful. The sauce with them was different and added some zing. I then tried two types of Pad Thai: a spicy and a mild. The mild spice level was pretty good. It had a nice flavor to it. The spicy was powerful and took away a little bit from the taste for me.
Price 7/10
The food is very good for your stomach but not your wallet. It is tough to justify going here often because the food isn’t as filling as something like Chipotle, while in the same price range (around $6 for an appetizer, $10 for lunch, $16 for dinner). The lunch menu offers many of the same things as the dinner menu for a cheaper price. The price for the quality is good there are justa lot of Asian alternatives in the vicinity; Wild Ginger and Fuji Steak House both in the Hyde Park Area.
Service 8/10
The service when I went was quick and polite. It is speedy enough that it could become a senior lunch destination. The take-out is also ready quite quick.
A study done by a Mariemont Senior on the Warpath staff has shown that it is possible to call right before leaving for senior lunch and that the food will be ready almost immediately upon arrival.
Atmosphere 8/10
The restaurant has a good vibe and modern-looking interior. The interior is almost Instagram worthy, it feels so artsy. It has a good amount of seating available with an attentive wait staff. The Sushi bar is pictured above and there is a roomy dinning area.
Location 6/10
Located in the Promenade, Mango Tree is accessible from Mariemont, Terrace Park, and Fairfax. It isn’t too far of a drive for anyone; however it is surrounded by competition. There is Magic Walk, Marco’s Pizza, El Trio which all sit in a line and create a good deal of competition. It is part of the revival that is going on in Mariemont’s promenade, with the many new restaurants, gym, pet, and hardware stores.
